- 2Existing tools were generic or US-focused — nothing built for UK detecting law, heritage reporting, or the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
- 3No community platform existed that combined mapping, social features, and hunt planning in one place.
Our solution
Built a full progressive web app with PostGIS-powered find logging, GIS overlays (Roman roads, Scheduled Monuments, ancient trackways), and permission boundary detection.
Added AI Hunt Intelligence that analyses terrain, historical data, and seasonal patterns to surface the best detecting opportunities.
Launched clubs, real-time chat, an events calendar, rally guest mode via QR code, and a scrubbable session replay tool — all offline-capable.
